Answer by vidya pattar(14)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solution :
-5(t-9)-(t+2)=4
use the distributive property to get rid of the parenthesis:
-5t + 45 - t - 2 = 4
-6t + 43 = 4
-6t + 43 - 4 = 0
-6t + 39 = 0
-6t = - 39
t = -39 / -6
t = 6.5
