Question 74384: can someone check this for me please?
(m^2-5mn+3n^2)(m^2+4mn-2n^2)
=m^2+4mn+2n^2
m^+4mn+2n^2
=1mn+5n^2
Answer by cathieb1225(41) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(m^2-5mn+3n^2)(m^2+4mn-2n^2)
m^4+4m^3n-2m^2n^2-5m^3n^2-20m^2n^2+10mn^3+3m^2n^2+12mn^3-6n^4
Now combine like terms
m^4+4m^3n-19m^2n^2-5m^3n^2+22mn^3-6n^4
While it is hard, you must remember to multiply each term in the second set of parentheses by each one of the terms in the first set of parentheses. It is time consuming and could be confusing. As you collect the like terms, rewrite the expression with like terms next to each other to make it easier.
