SOLUTION: I did the problem but it seems to be missing the -3 what did I do wrong?
x=-3
x=-2
-x^2-5x-6
2(2)^2-5(-2)+1
2(6)-5(-2)+1
=12-5-(-2)+1
=12-5--1
=8
Let x=-3 plug in x=-2
So if you plug in x=-2 or x=-3 you get 0
You can always graph this to visually verify this. It turns out that x=-2 and x=-3 are x-intercepts.
