Question 721893: Factor 4x^2+8x+3
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Factor 4x^2+8x+3
----------------
It's either (x + a)*(4x + b)
or (2x + a)*(2x + b)
-----
Everything is positive, makes it simpler.
a = 1 & b = 3, or vice versa.
=============
There's no magic way to factor, it's finding the combination that fits.
I don't need the practice, you do it.
