2x%28x%2B6%29%5E4-x%5E2%284%29%28x%2B6%29%5E3 divided by %28x%2B6%29%5E8, factor the dividend. This is just like simplifying a fraction, no different.

The dividend is %28x%2B6%29%5E3%282x%28x%2B6%29-4x%5E2%29
=2x%28x%2B6%29%5E3%28x%2B6-2x%29
=2x%28x%2B6%29%5E3%28-x%2B6%29

Now you are looking for the dividend divided by the divisor:
%282x%28x%2B6%29%5E3%28-x%2B6%29%29%2F%28%28x%2B6%29%5E8%29
=highlight%282x%28-x%2B6%29%2F%28%28x%2B6%29%5E5%29%29, before doing other multiplications.
