Is this it? If so, let's proceed. Add the fractions on the right side.
Simplify.
so:
Subtract 2x from both sides.
Add 2 to both sides.

Check: Substitute x = 14
Simplify.

Convert to equivalent fractions. Divide the top & bottom of the left side by 4.
