Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(w - 1/4)^2
Use FOIL:
= (w- 1/4)(w- 1/4)
F: w*w=w^2
O: w*(-1/4)=(-1/4) w
I: (-1/4)w = (-1/4)w
L: (-1/4)*(-1/4)= 1/16
Combine these to get:
= w^2 -(1/2)w + 1/16
