Question 693852: urgent help
its a complex fraction
x^2-5x+6/x+6/x^2-4x+4/x^2-9
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2-5x+6/x+6/x^2-4x+4/x^2-9
-----
Factor:
[(x-3)(x-2)/(x+6)] divided by [(x-2)^2/(x+3)(x-3)]
-----------------------
Invert the denominator and multipl:
[(x-3)(x-2)/(x+6)] times [[(x+3)(x-3)]/(x-2)^2]
-----
Cancel any factors common to a numerator and a denominator,
such as (x-3), (x-2), to get:
= [(x-3)/(x+6)] times [[(x+3)(x-3)]/(x-2)]
------
= [(x-3)^2(x+3)]/[(x+6)(x-2)]
