Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
15 divided by the square root of 7 plus 2
-----
15/(sqrt(7)+2)
Multiply numerator and denominator by (sqrt(7)-2) to get:
= [15(sqrt(7)-2)]/[7-4]
---
= 5sqrt(7)-10
========================
AND
2 divided by the square root of x+2 minus the square root of x
-----
2/(sqrt(x+2)-sqrt(x))
-----
Multiply numerator and denominator by sqrt(x+2)+ sqrt(x) to get:
-----
[2[sqrt(x+2)+sqrt(x)] / [(x+2) - x]
---
= sqrt(x+2)+sqrt(x)
