Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify: (2a^2–ab–3b^2)/(a^2-36b^2) ÷ (4a+4b)/(8a-48b)
--------------------
Invert the divisor and multiply
--------
= (2a^2–ab–3b^2)/(a^2-36b^2)*(8a - 48b)/(4a+4b)
Cancel factors of 4
= (2a^2–ab–3b^2)/(a^2-36b^2)*(2a - 12b)/(a+b)
------------------
Factor the 2 terms in (2a^2–ab–3b^2)/(a^2-36b^2)
See what you can do.
