Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6x^2=x + 2
6x^2-x-2=0
a=6,b=-1,c=-2
x=[-b+-sqrt(b^2-4ac)]/(2a)
x=[1+-sqrt(1-4*6*-2)]/12
x=[1+-sqrt(49)]/12
x=[1+-7]/12
x=8/12 ; x=-6/8
x=2/3 ; x=-3/4
