Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X^2=(X-4)(X+5)
X^2=X^2-4X+5X-20
0=X-20
X=20 FOR THE SIDES OF THE SQUARE ROOM THEN THE RECTANGLE ROOM IS
20-4=16 & 20+5=25
THE SQUARE ROOM HAS 20*20=400 SQUARE FEET
THE RECTANGLE ROOM HAS 16*25=400 SQUARE FEET
