can someone show me how to go about graphing this parabola y=3/4x^2. i do know that is will open upward.
------------
If x = 0, y = 0.
Let x = 2 then y = (3/4)4 = 3
Let x = -2, then y = (3/4)4 = 3
Let x = 4, then y = (3/4)16 = 12
Let x = -4, then y = (3/4)16 = 12
======================================
Draw the parabola thru those 5 points.

-------------
Same as most.
Pick values for x and find y.
Plot the points.
Draw a curve thru them.
---------

x = 0, y = 0 --> (0,0)
x = 1, y = 0.75 --> (1,0.75)
Notice that +x and -x give the same y.
----------
Use Excel to make a table of points.
