You can use the difference of squares rule to get
(2x-7)(2x+7) = (2x)^2 - (7)^2
(2x-7)(2x+7) = 4x^2 - 49

Hello,
Learn this pattern and you'll win each time.
(2x-7)(2x+7)
First multiply 2x and 2x to get:
4x^2
Now multiply 2x & 7 to get:
+14x
Then multiply -7 & 2x to get:
-14x
Finally multiply -7 and 7 to get:
-49
Put these together and we have:
4x^2+14x-14x-49
Notice the 14x and -14x become 0 so the result is:
4x^2-49
Make sense?
