f(x) = x^2(a-b)^3 + a^2(b-x) + b^2(x-a)

f(a) = a^2(a-b)^3 + a^2(b-a) + b^2(a-a)

= a^2(a-b)^3 - a^2(a-b) + 0
---
= a^2(a-b)[(a-b)^2-1]
