Question 63506: The U.S. population in 1990 was approximately 250 million, and the average growth rate for the past 30 years gives a doubling time of 66 years. The formula relating Population "P" in millions to year "Y" is given by the following formula:
P(in millions)=250 times 2^(y-1990)/66
What will the population of the United States be in 2025?
This problem is the most difficult math problem I have ever laid my eyes on. I hope that there is someone out there that is super-human and can help me with this one.

This seems to just be a substitute 2025 for y in the equation type problem.

= 361
So the expected population will be 361 million people
