$\left(q+\frac{3}{4}\right)\left(q+\frac{3}{4}\right)$

$q*q+\frac{3}{4}q+\frac{3}{4}q+\left(\frac{3}{4}\right)\left(\frac{3}{4}\right)$

$q^2+\frac{3}{4}q+\frac{3}{4}q+\frac{9}{16}$

$q^2+\frac{6}{4}q+\frac{9}{16}$

$q^2+\frac{3}{2}q+\frac{9}{16}$

So $\left(q+\frac{3}{4}\right)\left(q+\frac{3}{4}\right) = q^2+\frac{3}{2}q+\frac{9}{16}$
