Question 627956: How do you solve for θ2 in he equation
n1(sinθ1)=n2(sinθ2)
Thanks for the help! I've been stuck on this problem for a few hours now. i cannot figure out how to isolate the θ2.
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
n1(sinθ1)=n2(sinθ2)
n1(sinθ1)/n2=sinθ2
arcsin(n1(sinθ1)/n2) = θ2
θ2 = arcsin(n1(sinθ1)/n2)
Let me know if that helps. Thanks.
