Question 627684: I am having a hard time understanding how you would rationalize the denominator of a function when there is an expression in the numerator and a square root of an expression in the denominator. Something similar to this:
(x+3)

(sqrt(x-5))-3
Can anyone explain to me how you could rationalize that function?
