Question 624322: How do i find each square by using the formulas for the square of a binomial?
(t-4)^2
Answer by lenny460(1073) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(t - 4)^2
(t - 4)(t - 4)
Multiply using the FOIL Method.
t * t = t^2
t * -4 = -4t
-4 * t = -4t
-4 * -4 = 16
t^2 - 4t - 4t + 16
Combine like terms:
-4t - 4t = -8t
The Answer:
t^2 - 8t + 16
