Question 621727: Find all zeros of the function and write the polynomial as a product of linear factors.
f(x)=x^4+13x^2+36

Mult choice answers:
A) f(x)=(x+i)(x-i)(x+6i(x-6i)
B) f(x)=(x+2i)^2(x+3i)^2
C) f(x)=(x+2+3i)^2(x+2-3i)^2
D) f(x)=(x+2i)(x-2i)(x+3i)(x-3i)

Hi,
f(x)=x^4+13x^2+36 || Let X = x^2
f(X) = X^2 + 13X + 36

X = -9 or X = -4
x^2 = -9
x = ± 3i
x^2 = -4
x = ± 2i
D) f(x)=(x+2i)(x-2i)(x+3i)(x-3i)
