P(x)=x^4-4x^3-4x^2-4x-5 it aks me to find all rational zeros

x=-1 is one of the rational zeroes.
Dividing P(x) by x+1 you get a quotient
of x^3-5x^2+x-5.
This cubic has a rational zero of x=5
Dividing it by x-5 you get a quotient
of x^2+1 which has complex zeroes.
So the rational zeroes are x=1, x=5.

which can be written as the ratio of two
integers. Irrational zeroes cannot be
expressed in this way. For example sqrt2
