To solve this problem, set it equal to 0.

2bc+4b-5c-10=0

Now factor the problem. After trial and error, we come up with:

(2b-5)(c+2)=0

Now set each parentheses equal to zero to solve for b and c.

2b-5=0
+5 +5
2b=5
b=5/2

c+2=0
c=-2

To check the solution, substitute the b and c values into the original problem and set equal to zero.
