Answer by nerdybill(7384)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2 +5x + 6 = 0
solve by factoring:
(x+2)(x+3) = 0
setting each term to zero, we find our two solutions:
x+2=0
x = -1
AND
x+3 = 0
x = -3
.
Answer: x=-1, x=-3
