Question 585439: add or subtract
(5a^5-2a^3-9a^2)+(2a^5+a^3)+(-a^5-3a^2)
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(5a^5-2a^3-9a^2)+(2a^5+a^3)+(-a^5-3a^2)
5a^5-2a^3-9a^2+2a^5+a^3+-a^5-3a^2
(5a^5+2a^5-a^5)+(-2a^3+a^3)+(-9a^2-3a^2)
6a^5-a^3-12a^2
So (5a^5-2a^3-9a^2)+(2a^5+a^3)+(-a^5-3a^2) completely simplifies to 6a^5-a^3-12a^2
