I just did this problem but w/out the =0 and we just had to Simplify and got 2(x^2+2x-15)/5x+4 but I am unsure how to solve for x? If you could help me out as soon as possible that would be GREAT...thank you so much!

Given: x - 2/4*x - 7/2*x + 1 = 0.
This simplifies to x - 1/2*x - 7/2*x + 1 = 0.
Or x - 8/2*x + 1 = 0.
Or x - 4x + 1 = 0.
Or -3x + 1 = 0.
That means -3x has to = -1 for the equation to = 0.
So x is simply 1/3.
