SOLUTION: Write a polynomial to represent the volume of the rectangular prism.
Length= x+5
Width= x-4
Height= 1/2x-3
So far I've got:
v=(x+5)(x-4)(1/2x-3)
for some reason I don't thin

Write a polynomial to represent the volume of the rectangular prism.
Length= x+5
Width= x-4
Height= 1/2x-3
So far I've got:
v=(x+5)(x-4)(1/2x-3)
-----
V = (x^2+x-20)((1/2)x - 3)
-----
V = (1/2)x(x^2+x-20) -3(x^2+x-20)
------
V = (1/2)x^3 + (1/2)x^2 - 10x - 3x^2 -x + 20
----
V = (1/2)x^3 - (5/2)x^2 - 11x + 20
