Solve and simplify...(q+2)/3+(q-4)/4=2 I thought I would start out by finding the LCM but I am confusing myself more than anything. Can you please help me solve this.
----
LCM of 3 and 4 is 12
----
Multiply thru by 12 to get:
4(q+2) + 3(q-4) = 2*12
----
4q+8 + 3q-12 = 24
7q -4 = 24
7q = 28
q = 4
