or (x+3)*1+(x-3)*2=-5x
1x+3+2x-6=-5x
8x=3
x=3/8
My question is how to arrive at 8x=3? Show steps how to add or multiply or subtract to get 8x. I can do the expression until I get to this point. I do not understand how to simplify and expand to get the answer.

%28%28x%2B3%29%2B2%28x-3%29%29%2F%28x%2B3%29%28x-3%29+=+%28-5x%29%2F%28x%5E2-9%29 Simplify the numerator and denominator on the left side.
%283x-3%29%2F%28x%5E2-9%29+=+%28-5x%29%2F%28x%5E2-9%29 Multiply both sides by x%5E2-9
3x-3+=+-5x Add 5x to both sides.
8x-3+=+0 Add 3 to both sides.
8x+=+3 Finally, divide both sides by 8.
