What equation? You can't have an equation without an equals sign between two expressions. Either post an equation, or ask for what you really want help doing. By the way a^ does NOT mean "a squared" ^ means "raised to the power of" and another expression following the ^ is expected. If you want to write "a squared" write a^2.
