Factor completely: 6x^2-5y-3xy+10x using
SEVERAL methods please. Thanks!

6x² - 5y - 3xy + 10x

1. Rearrange the terms like this

6x² - 3xy + 10x - 5y

Factor 3x out of the first two terms

3x(2x - y) + 10x - 5y

Factor +5 out of the last two terms

3x(2x - y) + 5(2x - y)

Factor (2x - y) out of each term

(2x - y)(3x + 5)

-------------------------------------

2. Rearrange the terms like this

6x² + 10x - 3xy - 5y

Factor 2x out of the first two terms

2x(3x + 5) - 3xy - 5y

Factor -y out of the last two terms

2x(3x + 5) - y(3x + 5)

Factor (3x + 5) out of each term

(3x + 5)(2x - y)

-------------------------

See if you can rearrange them a third way.
