Question 492203: I need to put this expression in simplest form but i'm not sure how to..its been a long time.. x^2-2x-15/x^2+3x
Answer by chessace(471) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First factor the denominator: x(x+3) [I assume there is only one term]
Then expect to find x+3 as a factor in the numerator: (x+3)(x-5) yep.
Something to cancel.
