Question 466754: I need help with this question. 2x^2 + 3x- 2 over 2x^2 + 2x - 4
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x^2 + 3x- 2 over 2x^2 + 2x - 4
----
Factor:
[(2x-1)(x+2)]/[2[x^2+x-2]]
----------
= [(2x-1)(x+2)]/[2(x+2)(x-1)]
----------
Cancel the common (x+2) factors
-----
= (2x-1)/(2(x-1))
