Ariana took 2 hours longer to drive 360 mi on the first day of a trip than she took to drive 270 mi on the second day. If her speed was the same on both days, what was the driving time each day?

YOU DSID NOTHING WRONG. I FOUND THE SPEED NOT THE TIME
d=r*t 360-270=S*2 OR 90=2S OR S=90/2 O0R S=45 MPH
TIME=D/S OR 360/45=270/45+2 OR 8=6+2 OR 8=8 THUS THE TIME IS 8 HRS. & 6 HRS.

d=rt [Basic formula for distance]
d1=rt and d2=rt [Solve for the rate (r) or speed]
d1/t=r and d2/t=r
d1/t=d2/t [Both rates are equal]
(360)/(t+2) = (270)/(t) [Plug-in the values]
(360)(t+2) = (270)(2) [Solve for "t"][Cross-multiply]
360t = 270t+540 [Simplify]
360t-270t=540
90t/90=540/90
t=6
First day: t+2=6+2=8 hours
Second day: t = 6 hours
