How do you find the zeros of 2x3+x2-x ? and what is the multiplicity of the zeros?
-------------------------------
Solve: 2x3+x2-x = 0
Factor:
x(2x^2+x-1) = 0
---
Factor:
x(2x-1)(x+1) = 0
----
Zeros are: x = 0, or x = 1/2 or x = -1
Each has multiplicity one.
