Question 443391: Solve: 3p(3p-8)-8=9p(p-3)+4
Help? Thanks
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve:
3p(3p-8)-8 = 9p(p-3)+4
-------
9p^2 - 24p - 8 = 9p^2 - 27p + 4
-------
Subtract 9p^2 from both sides.
Add 27p to both sides.
-------
3p = 12
p = 4
------------
