Factor -16x^3 -32x^2
There are choices, but I cannot seem to factor to any of them.
A: 8x^2(-2x -32)
B: 8x^2(-2x -4)
C: -16x^2(x -32)
D: 16x(x^2 -32x) Answer by fractalier(2101) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let's factor out the greatest common factor...so from
-16x^3 - 32x^2 =
-16x^2(x + 2)
This is the best factoring but choice B is not incorrect, just not factored completely...choose B.
