Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the answer for 4n^3+24n^2-49n-294
I got: (n^3+6n^2) (-n-6)
-------------------
I graphed it and found Real Roots at
n = -6, -7/2 and +7/2
You could find those with synthetic division.
---
So you have factors:
(n+6)(2n+7)) and (2n-7)
-------------------
