Hello,
Multiply by 12 to get rid of the fractions:
8(3-2x)=3(x-4)+24
Expand this to:
24-16x=3x-12+24
Subtract 3x and 24 to get:
-19x=-12
divide by -19:
x=12/19
Make sense?
