1) 20x%5E4-12x%5E3-8x%5E2
= 4x%5E2%285x%5E2-3x-2%29
= 4x%5E2%285x%5E2-5x%2B2x-2%29
= 4x%5E2%285x%28x-1%29%2B2%28x-1%29%29
= 4x%5E2%28x-1%29%285x%2B2%29 Answer.

2) 6x%5E2%2B2x-20
= 6x%5E2%2B12x-10x-20
= 6x%28x%2B2%29-10%28x%2B2%29
= %286x-10%29%28x%2B2%29
