SOLUTION: Find a polynomial coefficient 1 and degree 3 that has 1, 1, and 3 as roots. I came up with x^3-3x^2+x-3 but not sure if it's right. thanks for looking it over.

(x^2 - 2x + 1)(x - 3) = f(x)
x^3 - 2x^2 + x - 3x^2 + 6x - 3 = f(x)
x^3 - 5x^2 + 7x - 3 = f(x)
