Question 420957: Please help me with the following questions.
5 over (x-8) + 1 over (x+2) (x+4)
Can you please tell me guide me through it.
Also, 8 over (x-10)(x-6) minus 60ver (x-8)(x-10)
If you can make suggestions of what I should concentrate on first please let me know. I feel that I go to a few websites to see the steps of how to do it but somehow I am spending a lot of time all over the place. I hope that now I can learn from this site and just stay with it, and not jump all over.
Thank you for your help and enjoy you weekend.

If the question is to simplify rational we suggest first to find the LCD of the rational statement: (x-8)(x+2)(x+4) and introduce all the fractional with the same denominator.

It's not clear what the question is. It could be
to simplify the expressions, but I don't know
this. Part of algebra is knowing exactly what you have
and exactly what you are trying to do with it.
If you're not sure, take a stab at it.
