Question 420013: A tank hold (x^2 + 3x) gallons of water. What is an expression for the capacity of the tank in quarts?
I'm thinking since there are 4 quarts in a gallon I would take 4(x^2+3x) to get 4x^2 + 12x, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help you can give me.
