(2/3y - 1/2)(2/3y- 1/2)

 4/9y^2 +  ___     + 1/4   |that's straight forward enough using The FOIL method



  4/9y^2  -4/6y  + 1/4      | Note: %281%2F2%29%282%2F3%29+=+2%2F6

OR

   4/9y^2 -2/3y  + 1/4
