-4+-sqrt(4(3)i)/(2)
-4+- 2 sqrt(3i)/(2)
-2+- 1 sqrt(3i)

You did it right, but got the terminology off at the end.
It's -2 ± i*sqrt(3)
Or x = -2 ± sqrt(3)*i
The i can't be under the radical.
