Question 40845: write 4x^2+12x as a product in three different ways. Then describe which of the three is the completely factored form. Explain your reasoning
Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x^2 + 12x =
2(2x^2 + 6x) =
4(x^2 + 3x) =
4x(x + 3)
This last one is the completely factored form since no other common factors can be drawn out further from x + 3.
