In solving the equation (x + 3)(x + 1) = 48, Eric stated that the solution would be
x + 3 = 48 => x = 45
or
(x + 1) = 48 => x = 47

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I don't know where you get these problems from, but I solved a very similar problem yesterday (involving the same step, including a person named Eric. Different coefficients, though). Here's a link to the solution I posted:
