A number (= X) added to the product of 6 and the reciprocal of the number (=1/X)
equals -5.
SO X+6*1/X=-5.MULTIPLYING WITH X THROUGHOUT
X^2+6=-5X
X^2+5X+6=0
X^2+3X+2X+6=0
X(X+3)+2(X+3)=0
(X+2)(X+3)=0
X=-2...OR....-3
SO THE NUMBER IS -2 OR -3.
