standard form of a line is in the form: y = ax^2 + by + c 

  y=2(x-7)(x+3)

 y = 2(x^2 - 4x- 21)

 y = 2x^2 - 8x- 42  |standard form

 First FOIL(x-7) and (x+3) to yield x^2-4x-21. then multiply the quadratic equation by 2
