SOLUTION: I have worked this out but am not sure if it is right. Would you please check it? (fractions) (3)/(4)n-(1)/(12)n = 6 (3n)/(4)-(1n)/12) = 6 (12(3n)-4n)/(12) (36n-4n)

Question 406706: I have worked this out but am not sure if it is right. Would you please check it?
(fractions)
(3)/(4)n-(1)/(12)n = 6
(3n)/(4)-(1n)/12) = 6
(12(3n)-4n)/(12)
(36n-4n)/(12)
(32n)/(12)=32 muliply both sides by 12
(32n)/(32n) = (384)/(32)
n = 12

Hi

n = 1/9
CHECKING our Answer***
3 /4/9 - 1/12/9 = 6
